Strictly Come Dancing
The wait is almost over as the dancers have their stretching routines completed, peak fitness attained and deep soul rhythm is pounding from loins and legs all over the Bride Valley. Coaches Amy Morrissey and Thomas Hyland have been carefully preparing the troops over the last six weeks and the time is almost nigh.

Judges on the night will be the Waterford pair of James Murray and Dan Shanahan as well as Enda Ormonde so publicans and farmers/teachers can expect some biting critique of their moves. We will also have a very special guest judge who will appear on the night a la Kaiser Soze to lend their five cents. This person is being flown in at great expense and pampering so due deference and respect will have to be shown to his dancing opinions.

Tickets are available at €15 each and this will guarantee a full night's entertainment and craic with a bar extension and music from the band Parallel. In these times, any club that stands still in terms of development and infrastructure will be left behind so a fundraiser like this is very important in terms of the future plans for development. Our more immediate plans for ground development include construction of a gym and proper perimeter fencing around Pairc Eamonn de Paor and a good turnout on Saturday night will assist this.

The lineup for Saturday is complete and star-studded and consists of James Clancy dancing with Ann Tobin, Gertie Murphy dancing with Tom Corcoran, Sean Tobin dancing with Roisin Casey, Finn Mc Carthy dancing with Ciara Hallahan, Ann O Brien dancing with James Ahern, Aoife Tobin dancing with Laura Casey and Dinny Cunningham dancing with Helen Mc Intosh. We hope that you will show your support and appreciation to all these brave men and women on the night. Should you wish to back up your judgement with some cold hard cash, Michael O Keeffe will be acting as an accountant of the turf for the night with all proceeds going to the club.
