A gentle reminder to all supporters, patrons and especially players that membership for 2012 for CLG Tulach an Iarainn is now due. As was outlined in the AGM report a few weeks back, ten players from the senior and junior panels in 2011 did not pay membership last year. If you join a gym, a golf club or even a stamp collecting club one of the issues that is always first dealt with is the payment of membership. Try going to your local gym or swimming pool and telling them that you'll use the facilities today, Thursday and next week and that you'll pay them membership at some undetermined point in the future and I'm sure the response will be short and emphatic.

Best of luck to our panellists Mark, Paul, Thomas and Aidan as Waterford start their 2012 senior season against UCC in the Waterford Crystal tournament next Sunday 5th in WIT. We hope that they'll get a fair chance, a smidgen of luck with injuries and that the ball will run in their favour. It's a pretty short pre-season before the start of the league, especially if Waterford lose on Sunday, so early form will probably tilt decisions for a few contentious positions
